Welcome to the 3M Opticlude Orthoptic Eye Patch blog!
My name is Aron Lucas, 3M Opticlude product manager. The rationale for the blog is to allow you, Opticlude’s patch users to discuss a varied range of topics regarding the product that you have used or have applied to a relative or patient.
Opticlude patches have been used for occlusion therapy for a number of years by patients, parents, and health care professional alike and this blog hopes to allow new ideas, techniques, and opinions to be shared across a network of users.
3M Health Care is continually looking to offer the best possible service and support to our customers, and therefore we would like to encourage you to tell us what you think about Opticlude patches and patching in general.
We receive many questions and queries regarding the products (please continue to do so), which can sometime be difficult to answer. Therefore we would like to take this opportunity to expand our understanding of how parents, patients, and health care professionals are using the product and whether there are any new, unusual, or obvious ways of engaging children and patients to wear and use the patch effectively to improve the occlusion conditions that are being dealt with.
I would like to engage bloggers into new and engaging discussions regarding Opticlude products and the Opticlude range. A new thread will be posted each week with a new topic of conversation.
If you wish to discuss the products away from the board, please contact me directly.
